The Creamery is San Antonio’s newest mixed-use retail and housing development. It is now home to several local restaurants and businesses, but it was once a Borden Dairy facility.
What is The Creamery?
The Creamery was built in 1933. Originally, this Borden building was the largest distributor of fluid milk in the United States. It underwent renovations in 1946, 1953, and throughout the 1990s, but the major rehabilitation project completed today started in 2020.
The Creamery is now open to the public with several local restaurants and bars. It is located near downtown San Antonio and the San Antonio Riverwalk.
Tin Top Flats at The Creamery is the newest apartment complex located next door to The Creamery, offering 1-2-bedroom luxury apartments.

The renovated Borden dairy facility now features 5 luxury restaurants and entertainment options ranging from a European-style coffee shop to an opulent social lounge.
